Masizzim: Korean Fusion Food While Playing With Balls

Tsk.. Crazy pesky fangirls trying to get famous on my blog now that i have hit 10 readers... Oh err hi there. Oh right intro... intro... ahem. Korean food nice yadda yadda... (google some fact to sound smart)... *inserts sex joke with poor taste*...done and moving on.

Masizzim is a spacious Korean restaurant hidden away in the corner of 313 Somerset's basement level. We learned of it due to my chingu's Korean cravings, and let's just say terrible, terrible things happen when she isn't appeased.

Crabmeat Rice Ball $10.80
We begin with a bowl of rice topped with seaweed, crab meat and flying fish roe. Don some plastic gloves, mix everything well and it's time to make some balls.

The sense of disappointment because i was expecting him to feed me with his tender hands... The rice ball was permeating with sesame oil fragrance and had a good balance with the sweetness of the crab. It was not the first time in my life that i craved for more balls.

Pork Ribs Stew $16.80
Served with rice and choice of udon or glass noodles in the soup, the stew was so sweet and intense, you just know the pork bones had been simmering inside since the stone age. Though the pork ribs were not fall off the bone tender, they were delicious having absorbed all the goodness of the broth.

Tuna Egg Roll $10.80
When the fuck did we order roti john? A Korean rolled omelette spammed with chili sauce and mayonnaise, whoever made this is trying to murder us subtly.

I did enjoy the different layers of texture but i have to admit that the amount of sauce on top was unnecessary and felt sickening pretty quickly.

Tomato Cheese Pancake $13.80
The Korean pancake with an Italian twist was a great rendition of pizza and it encompassed the best of both cuisines. Crispy, chewy kimchi pancake with melted gooey cheese in the center. Good stuff.

Ahhh crap do i really have to do a conclusion? Fine zzz.. Masizzim is a great place for Korean fusion food, playing with balls and saving lives from Korean food craving monsters. Give it the respect it deserves. P.S.A I'm introducing the food rating system because i tend to stray off my descriptions and nobody knows what the fuck i'm talking about anymore. Also, people love golden numbers.

Korean Food Fact! : In Korea, the amount of banchan (side dishes) served relates to your status symbol. For bosses, no less than 5, for future in laws, 7 or more etc. We were only served 2 at Masizzim...
