Ever feel depressed that you have to sell your kidney just to eat some Taiwanese desserts at Blackball? I mean that shit is expensive for what is essentially shaved ice and grass jelly with some toppings. But lighten up now, cause we got some competition in da house.

Inspired by the famous tapioca balls from Jiufen in Taiwan, Ninefresh aims to bring the chewy balls and textures to locals at affordable prices. The 3 bases of grass jelly, beancurd and aiyu jelly can be uniquely customised with a huge selection of toppings, or you could just choose from one of their signature bowls.

Because my horoscope says that one of my traits is laziness, the aww in one cup is my definite choice to save the hassle of thinking about which toppings to add. Refreshing and generous on the amount of balls, the different textures and flavours were so very satisfying.

Matcha Fresh Milk Latte $3.80

I ordered this with 70% sugar and it came with a free serving of diabetes. A cup of fresh milk infused with a thick matcha froth on the top. Being the milk lover that i am(heh), i enjoyed the fragrance of both ingredients combining into one delicious beverage.
